Problem Statement
There was a clear need to improve the experience of managing contracts within the company, especially for key team members involved in projects—such as project managers, contract administrators, design engineers, and project controllers.
The existing platform was creating significant challenges in initiating projects, drafting contracts, tracking the contract lifecycle, and forecasting effectively.

User Interviews
To address the challenge, I conducted user interviews and stakeholder consultations to understand the diverse needs and pain points of each user group.
Feedback
Through ongoing meetings and collaborative discussions, valuable feedback was gathered, highlighting the need to develop new components to meet the project's specific requirements. These components were carefully designed and implemented to align with the legal processes involved in contract review, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and standards.

User Journey Improvement & Wireframes
Incorporating user feedback and developing the new components significantly enhanced the overall user journey, creating a more intuitive and seamless experience.
From there, then moved to high-fidelity prototypes to test UI and new components. Iterative feedback from the UX lead and business analyst guided design sprints and refinements throughout the process.
These improvements not only addressed user needs but also resulted in a well-defined minimum viable product (MVP) that served as a comprehensive guide for the engineering team to begin implementation effectively.
Outcomes
This project aims to help the company manage internal projects more effectively from both budgetary and legal perspectives. While still in development, initial high-fidelity wireframes were tested with 15 potential users and showed significant improvements in the project initiation and contract review processes.
