Overview
The project aimed to develop a custom web application for project management, tailored to the company's specific workflows and needs. Designed to replace third-party solutions that no longer met requirements, the app would support reporting, tracking, and management functions. Additionally, it would be customized for different user roles, ensuring an intuitive and efficient experience for all stakeholders.
Goal
The objective was to develop a custom web app for project management, designed specifically to align with the company's workflows and requirements—addressing gaps that off-the-shelf solutions could no longer meet.

Role
UX Designer/Researcher
Tools
Figma, Google Analytics, Google Workspace

Necessity
Third-party apps lacked the flexibility to accommodate specific process customizations and user requirements, forcing teams to rely on multiple tools for the same workflows. A custom solution became essential to streamline operations, centralize functionalities, and enhance the daily experience of all users.
Feedback
We analyzed user feedback on the existing application to identify pain points, opportunities, and successful features. This insight guided the UX design of the new application, ensuring improvements aligned with user needs and expectations

User Journey Improvement & Wireframes
Guided by user feedback and business goals, we prioritized key stakeholder requirements, emphasizing dashboards, relevant information, connected issues, and risk scores. The initial wireframes and journey improvements were centered around these themes.
Throughout multiple review sessions, we presented the designs to stakeholders, gathering feedback and refining them iteratively before the final handover.

Overall UI Design
The UI design was developed based on the company's established branding.

Outcomes
The app is still in development, with ongoing efforts to address key areas and further centralize information. While significant improvements have been made, there is still progress to be made.
