Supply Chain Risk Management
A platform that informs users of risks like weather, conflicts, compliance, and help them take action.

Content of this project is limited due to confidentiality restrictions
Overview
The project’s purpose is to provide greater visibility into potential risks associated with suppliers, subcontractors, and key components, enabling proactive mitigation by operations managers and the supply chain team.
The overall goal is to unified and centralize all the information in one source of truth, making it easier to users to make decisions reducing the uncertainty of risk management
Goal
The objective was to develop a custom web app for project management, designed specifically to align with the company's workflows and requirements—addressing gaps that off-the-shelf solutions could no longer meet.

Problem Statement
This project is born of the need of developing a centralized hub to improve the risk management in the company's supply chain.
Monitoring this risk is a challenge since all the suppliers and subcontractors information is fragmented into multiple sources and not all of them are verified by the company. This makes it hard for users to take critical data in an efficient manner.
User Journey Improvement & Wireframes
Based on the defined requirements, we began the ideation phase with a strong focus on designing wireframes that clearly presented all risk-related data across key sections. Given the complexity and volume of information, creative thinking was encouraged to enhance data visualization, leading to the design of several custom components from scratch. Close collaboration with front-end developers was essential to ensure feasibility and alignment throughout the process. The design evolved through continuous sprints and regular feedback loops.

Overall UI Design
The UI design was developed based on the company's established branding.
Outcomes
From a UX perspective, the impact has been measured over a short period, as the project is still in development. However, the initial release of the hub has already enabled users to access consolidated risk information on a single platform, eliminating the need to search across multiple sources.
Early feedback from the first post-release survey indicates that data visualization on the website have significantly improved users' ability to interpret complex data. As additional workflows are streamlined, we anticipate further improvements in collaboration and transparency throughout the mitigation process.
